Awww come on man, Its not always about how it looks, but how it can look. Thanks for the compliment though. It didn't always look that way. I have some pretty serious before/after pics, I bought it for $400, and I dont think it was worth it! Yours will all come together, just keep with it.

Not a bad lookin elky you got there, dude. What else you got planned? That truck would look sick laying on the ground, but it doesn't look like those wheels and tires would tuck.

I plan to downsize the wheels to 18"'s or 17"s not sure which yet . I have a 789 horsepower 406 roller dropping in this weekend.. 456gears out of a Grand National .. The rearend has all hardened componets .. I will be using a 4200-4500 stall and a TH 400 with trans brake .. The interior is brand new other than the dash and carpet but I have them new in the box just havent had time to install them yet .. It should be alot of fun

Bad ass dude. Thats a shitload of power for such a light rearend...be careful with that. And if I may make a suggestion, when you put the carpet in your elky, take it out of the box and unfold it and leave it unfolded for a few days, maybe even out in the sun. If you put the carpet in right out of the box it will stay folded right in the middle and it will look like shit, dont make the same mistake I did. Do you have a few pics of your interior? I would like to check that out, I will post up some pics of mine too.

Thats a good tip on the carpet .. Thanks .. The rearend has been upgraded to handle up to 1000 HP so I dont hink my little pissy ass 789 HP will hurt it .. LOL .. We shall see .. I will have fun seeing if it will hold together .. When I get my nitrous kit on my car it will be dead at 1000 HP .. Yeahawwwwwwwwww !

Anyone wanna guess what it will run in a quarter mile ? all motor 789 Hp

Let me know and when I take it down the track the first time I will post time's the following day .

Whats your times guys ??

When I said light rear end, i meant the back half of the el camino is super light. That sounds bad ass dude. is it a BB or SB? I never took mine to the track, but all of my friends estimate a mid 13 sec 1/4 mile. Yeah man, im pretty eager to see what yours runs

you have a pretty sweet looking El Camino too man .. Looks clean .. The wheels on mine are way too big .. Im gonna downgrade to some 17's or 18's .. so I can lower it down some .. I think it sets too high .. We shall see what it does !!!

Yeah man, i kinda think smaller wheels would look a lot better also. if you want to get an idea of what size wheels you would like, the rear wheels on mine are 17's, and the fronts are 16's. I have always been a little bummed that i didnt go with 18's and 17's instead, but i think it still looks alright.

The staggered look is fresh. I did the same thing to mine. 17b8 in the front and 18x10 in the back! Still waiting for tires to come in.

Heres what my 84 Conquista looked like not long after I got it and before a big windstorm tore the canopy away it was under & put $3200 worth of deep scratches in the paint-> Image -Since then,t hasnt been painted, but I swapped power doors on from an 87,& replaced the tailgate, put in Monte buckets in place of the split bench, found some new trim pieces, replaced the headliner,& put in a new AM/FM/CD/HD/MP3/Bluetooth deck. Now I need speakers & that paint job! Oh,yeah,I have tires, but still need to buy the 17" wheels for them.Suspension has been lowered with Belltech drop spindles,& Nitro-drop shocks,& a much larger front sway bar up front. Image
